    Monosymptomatic Hypochondriasis, Abnormal Illness Behavior and Suicide

    Two cases of chronic monosymptomatic psychogenic eye pain with abnormal illness behavior are presented. Both failed to respond to a wide variety of treatments, and despite the accepted low suicidal risk in hypochondriasis both killed themselves.
