Highlights Clinical trials of ketamine and suicide will require appropriate measurement. We compared several suicide assessment measures in ketamine clinical trials. Single items and longer measures of suicidal thoughts were correlated. Items from the MADRS, BDI, and SSI may be particularly sensitive to rapid changes.
