The goals of the Washington State Plan for Youth Suicide Prevention are that: suicide is recognized as everyone’s business; youth ask for & get help when they need it; people know what to look for & how to help; care is available for those who seek it; & suicide is recognized as a preventable public health problem. This document outlines the activities that will be undertaken to achieve these goals.
