This article discusses the incidence of suicide & suicide prevention among gays & lesbians in Norway. Community surveys have shown young people express fairly negative attitudes towards lesbians & gays. Risk factors for suicide in these populations are discussed as are prevention strategies that begin with the acknowledgement lesbians & gays constitute a risk group. (4 refs.)
