Bourne presented data from the San Francisco City Coroner’s office on suicide among Chinese individuals at the annual conference of the American Psychiatic Association. The current author reviews Bourne’s presentation & raises some questions regarding the significance of such studies for transcultural psychiatry. (2 refs.)
