This is the fourth annual report outlining progress made in implementing England’s national suicide prevention strategy. The overall rate of suicide continued to fall among the general population, including a further fall in the rate among young men. A summary of priority activities for 2007 is provided. The final chapter of the evaluation describes activities taking place through development centres whose role is to stimulate & encourage innovation & support local communities in implementing the strategy.
