This paper summarises current information about youth suicide in New Zealand, distinguishing between teen suicide (13-19 years) & youth suicide (15-24 years). It provides current statistics about youth suicide, information about the risk factors & causes of youth sucide, & appropriate points of intervention to reduce & prevent suicide.
