This article discusses the increasing rate of death by suicide in Scotland. Between the years 1971-73 & 1996-98, the suicide rate for Scots men rose by 76%. In the same period the overall adult female suicide rate fell by over 15%. This article also talks about several organizations available to men & women that give them the psychological & emotional support they need.
