Minimising the Impact of Railway Suicides: a Literature Review

The objectives of this study are to gain an understanding of schemes used worldwide to manage trauma suffered by staff in various industries that encounter death by suicide in their line of work, & to evaluate the practicalities of adopting the schemes within the UK rail industry. The research covers a range of relevant areas from the general experience of trauma survivors, trauma in the workplace, & the specific experience of railway staff in encountering a railway suicide.
