This report provides an extensive review & analysis of the literature concerning selective serotonin reuptake inhibitor (SSRI) induced suicide & violence, & identifies several clinical syndromes that can cause the phenomena. The author examines the clinical & forensic implications of these findings, & reviews the ethical & scientific controversy surrounding the capacity of psychoactive agents to cause “bad behaviour.” (79 refs)
