The authors review the methodology, key findings, & implications of a study undertaken in order to: (1) assess the prevalence levels of anxiety & depression in a sample of Mexican migrant farm workers in the Midwest United States; (2) determine the relationships among acculturative stress, anxiety & depression; (3) determine the best predictors of depression; & (4) capture the phenomenology of the migrant farmworker lifestyle through interviews.
