This document summarizes a panel discussion convened for the purpose of: (1) providing an overview of how people who are seriously ill face the end-of-life; (2) informing participants about 2 different research programs with people facing the end-of-life; & (3) discussing how research on the end-of-life can inform practice & assist suicide prevention efforts.
