This article briefly introduces the U.S Air Force (USAF) Suicide Prevention Program, with emphasis on the design characteristics & positive results that have distinguished it from a number of other programs. The fundamental cornerstones of the program are identified, these being: leadership, community, reduction of stigma, & early intervention.
