This document briefly reviews some of the evidence for a link between selective serotonin reuptake inhibitors (SSRIs) & suicide in children. The authors conclude that there is no convincing data showing that SSRIs are less safe in children than in adults, & argue that these drugs are much more likely to prevent suicide than to cause it.
