Schwartz A E~~McRoy R G~~Downs A C
This article explores issues of attachment & adolescent transitions in a sample of 25 pregnant & parenting teens living in a transitional shelter. Using case records & interview data as well as results of standardized measures of depression, suicidality, self-esteem, child abuse potential, & emotional autonomy, insights on relationships between adolescent mothers & their parents, romantic partners, staff, & children are explored, & implications are provided for agencies serving this population.
