This paper describes the development of a national strategy for suicide prevention in Denmark. Subjects addressed in the plan are education, treatment of suicide attempters & other high-risk groups, media-coverage of suicidal behaviour, access to means for suicide, & suicide research. The plan will include intervention in different areas & a plan for monitoring & evaluating interventions. (2 refs)
