This paper introduces the topic of indigenous healing through an overview of the key Native mental health concerns of the First nations peoples in Quebec & the ways in which they can be addressed through various healing modalities. The author draws on her political & social involvement with Cree communities in order to highlight the critical issues which must be addressed by health researchers & workers.
