After a murder/suicide at the Red Lion Junior High School in Red Lion, Pennsylvania (the second critical incident in 2 years for that school district), a crisis response team provided critical incident stress management services, response coordination & ongoing support to the students, school population & community at large. The authors were part of this diverse response team, & illustrate how within 8 days, the school population was able to move beyond the critical incident & begin the process of recovery.
