Adolescent suicidal ideation & its relationship to other variables was tapped by a self-report questionnaire administered to 88 high school seniors. 18% responded positively to the statement “sometimes I feel suicidal.” A number of variables distinguished these respondents from those who responded negatively. 34% of variance between the groups remained unexplained, & implications for future research are discussed.
