This article focuses on the collaboration between health education & psychological services in the development & implementation of a depression & suicide prevention program for a high school population. The objectives were to raise awareness about teenage depression & suicide, increase communication about these issues, & provide information about resources available to those feeling depressed or suicidal. Data related to the achievement of these objectives are presented & suggestions for future directions of such a program are discussed. (13 refs)
