The aim of this study was to assess numbers, natures, & injury patterns of fatal incidents by firearms in Finland over a 10-year period from January 1990 to December 1999. Although the authors specifically investigated the annual incidence of fatal non-suicidal firearm injuries, suicide data is included throughout.
