This journal provides data on the total number of railway suicides & suspected suicides in Britain from 1991 to 2001. Profiles of the people that died by suicide on the railway are presented. Males comprise 84% of these deaths, ranging from 21 to 50 years of age. The progress of the Suicides & Open Verdicts on the Railway Network is included. (9 refs) (SC)
