The Dexamethasone Suppression Test in Borderline Personality Disorder

A retrospective study was carried out, by means of chart review, on DST results in a group of patients with borderline personality disorders who had been admitted to a state psychiatric facility, in order to examine the relationship between affective disorders & borderline personality disorders. As well, the authors investigated the relationship between between DST results & suicidal behavior in this sample of patients with borderline personality disorder. (8 refs)
