This article argues that the Oregon Health Division’s report on assisted suicide under the state’s new legislation does not provide enough data to support its reassuring conclusions. The authors find that especially glaring is the lack of data on the palliative care offered to patients who requested assisted suicide, on their financial situation, & on their emotional state.
