A Survey of Completed Elderly Suicides in the Lothian and Borders Region of Scotland, 1983-1990 (IN: Suicidal Behaviour in Europe: Recent Research Findings, edited by P Crepet et al)

This study analyses the characteristics of a suicide cohort which includes all the completed suicides in the over-60 age group in the Lothian and Borders region of Scotland over the 8 year period between 1983 and 1990. Each suicide was classified according to the International Classification of Diseases (ICD) codes and examined. Findings are discussed. (7 refs)
