This study, funded by Befrienders International, examined what effect, if any, the NATO bombing had upon suicidal behaviour in Novi Sad. 81 cases were reviewed through psychological autopsies; in only 5 cases did families refuse to be interviewed. A side effect of the study was that the interviews also provided a befriending service & emotional support to the survivors who needed to talk about their loss.
