This paper presents English translations of 17 suicide notes written by Chinese youths (8 males, 9 females) between the ages of 16 and 28. Some observations on the notes include: 6 reflect an angry mood, 4 contained self-criticism, & more than half indicated the suicide was precipitated by interpersonal problems. (3 refs.)
