This brief article presents information on the evaluation of the effects of continuing long-range help for persons who received crisis intervention from the Los Angeles Suicide Prevention Centre. Specific goals were to reduce isolation & improve social relationships in high-risk suicidal persons, & to reduce suicidal ideation, suicide attempts, & completed suicides in those high-risk persons. Project action, evaluation, conclusions, & the use of results from the project are discussed.
