This presentation gave a description of the ‘Closing the Net’ project. The project combined an approach of skilling professional & nonprofessional people in contact with youth in risk assessment & suicide intervention with a more preventative approach of working with schools & communities in increasing resilience factors for young people. Specific aspects of the project, e.g. parenting classes & peer counselling, were discussed in greater detail.
