Exploring Together: an Early Intervention Program for Families With Children or Adolescents at Risk

This presentation discussed “Exploring Together”, a short-term group therapy program for children & adolescents with emotional & behavioural problems. The program consists of a children’s/adolescents’ group, a parent’s group, & a group for children, adolescent & parents, as well as meetings for partners & teachers. The program has been held in clinics, community agencies, & schools & shown to produce significant improvements in childrens’ problematic behaviours & in social skills.
