Intensive Multi-Modal Group Intervention for Severely Disordered Adolescents at Risk of Suicide

This presentation gave an overview of innovative multi-modal group therapy combined with broad-based case management. Activity-based therapies including an integrated wilderness adventure therapy program were highlighted as uniquely adolescent oriented. The results of an evaluation were presented. Follow-up investigation found a high level of improved placement outcomes & behaviour change maintained at 3-6 months.
