What the Health! A Literacy and Health Resource for Youth

This package, for youth over the age of 12, uniquely integrates life skills & literacy development. It can be presented in the community or a school setting. It contains an introduction for youth workers & reproducible materials on health issues such as safe sex, depression, drug & alcohol use, & suicide. Each issue is presented as an easy-to-read biography. Students are asked to respond to each narrative & then complete exercises focussing on grammar, punctuation, spelling & language use.
