This panel briefly reviewed specific factors associated with suicide in the following psychiatric disorders: major depression, alcohol dependence, schizophrenia, & panic disorder. The panel also included two discussants: David Clark who discussed empirical research perspectives & Isaac Sakinofsky who spoke on clinical/psychotherapeutic perspectives.
