Annotation: Mood Disorder in Suicidal Children and Adolescents: Recent Developments

This paper reviews recent studies that have documented the prevalence of mood disorder in children & adolescents who commit, attempt, or consider suicide. It also reviews the longitudinal studies that cast light on the temporal relationships between mood disorder & suicide ideation or attempts. The practical implications of these studies are discussed.
