Hawton examines the work of J. Kosky, whose book “Suicide Prevention” is a result of the 1997 International Association Of Suicide Prevention Symposium. Hawton gives a content overview and then focuses specifically on the authors and countries that contributed information about suicide awarness to Kosky’s text. Hawton says the book “mostly succeeds”, but criticizes some of the abstracting work saying they “reveal little or nothing of what was presented”(at the symposium).
