This study of a nonclinical sample supports the findings of increased vulnerability of gay, lesbian, and bisexual (GLB) youth for mental health and sexual risk-taking behaviors found in clinically referred samples. It also identifies significant problems in mental health for youth who are unsure of their sexual orientation. The study also provides data that support the need for intervention for GLB youth in high schools.
