This pamphlet includes tables showing the effectiveness of a 2-year Australian LivingWorks field trial in producing caregivers able to intervene in suicidal situations. Significant improvement was found in the areas of readiness for suicide intervention, willingness and ability to intervene in a crisis, optimism towards outcome & desirable interventions when in contact with depressed/suicidal youth. Changes to note when concerned about suicidal behavior in others are listed on the back.
