Disruption, Disaster, and Death: Helping Students Deal With Crises

Life crises, such as disruption, disaster & death, that confront American children & youth are presented in Chapter 1 & throughout this book. Chapters 2 through 4 respectively examine disruption, varying disasters & death-related crises & intervention strategies to address each of these sitations. In Chapter 5, the effects of disruption, disaster & death are summarized. The preparations that general & special educators should have in place to adequately intervene when crises occur are also discussed.
