This study involves follow-up investigations of neurotic patients. Similar studies are reviewed. Kringlen’s descriptive study of Norwegian patients suffering from obsessional ilnesses follows. The prognosis of these patients 13-20 years later are reported, and any connections between factors such as family history & premorbid personality are explored. One female committed suicide. Another male attempted suicide several times by hanging. (25 refs.)
