“Teens in Crisis” was chosen as an ongoing project by the 1985 North American Federation of Temple Youth Board. This booklet is intended to serve as a resource for that project. It describes the changes encountered during adolescence. It discusses stress, support systems, self-esteem, substance abuse, eating disorders & suicide. Program ideas for suicide prevention are offered. A questionnaire on suicide is included. Additional resources aimed at teens are provided.
