In these letters to the editor, various authors repond to an article on disabilities & physician-assisted suicide. The key issue for most seems to be the “slippery slope”. Some believe that if physician-assisted suicide is allowed, soon political & social pressure will force physicians to assist with suicide for reasons other than sound medical judgement. Others argue against this reasoning saying that denying assisted suicide to the disabled is a form of discrimination.
