Managing Youth Suicidal Behaviour: the 4RS Workshop for General Practitioners

The aim of this workshop was to present a model designed to train general practitioners in the recognition, assessment & treatment of young people at risk of suicide. The format of the 4Rs workshop was presented in 5 parts: issues; recognizing the signs; raising the issue; risk assessment; & responding. The workshop was interactive & offered participants opportunities to do quizzes, role plays, & small group exercises.
