This workshop focused on advances in the understanding & treatment of non-fatal suicidal behaviour in women. Information was presented on the latest research on risk factors & the limitations of traditional theories of etiology. Psychotherapy outcome research was reviewed so that participants could understand why traditional psychotherapies have not been effective for women. The workshop concluded with new ideas for intervention & prevention.
