This presentation discussed the development of the “Quick Look Handbook” & an associated training programme. The objective of these resources is to provide people in the community with an easy-to-use resource for responding to suicide situations. The Handbook has been well received as has the training programme. However, the training programme needs to be more extensively tested before results can be claimed. The authors are expecting further positive & practical developments in these resources.
