Youth Suicide Prevention, a State-Wide Schools Strategy Incorporating Non-government Schools

This paper examined the process by which a structure for a strategy for youth suicide prevention was established across the non-government schools sector of Western Australia. Issues of management & maintenance emerged as crucial componenets. Both the non-government schools system & individual school perspective’s of these issues were discussed.
