Comorbidity of Suicide Attempts in Adolescents and Young Adults

Data was presented from the first part of the Early Stages of Psychopathology study, designed to collect information on the prevalence, risk factors, comorbidity & course of mental disorders with a specific emphasis on substance use disorders. 3,021 residents, ages 14-24, of metropolitan Munich were interviewed in the first half of 1995. 70 individuals answered questions on suicide attempts. Data about comorbidity among suicide attempters compared to nonattempters was also presented.
