Aspects of Youth Suicide: Summary Report of a Seminar

A 1997 seminar gathered information from experts on youth suicide in Australia & gave government Committee Members an overview of the issues involved. The report reviews relevant statistics to 1995, research & government funding, major factors influencing young suicidal people, service provision & delivery & urgent recommendations to establish a depression awareness campaign, standardize procedures for hospitals, review current funding, ensure consistency in data collection at all gov’t levels.
