Suicide victims among Native American youth ages 15-24 is estimated to be 3 to 4 times higher than that of other ethnic groups in the U.S. This article focuses on the traditional tribal structure of most Native Americans & events of history that have impacted the cultures of Native American tribes, including Western education, various religions, & legislation.
