Early Detection of Emotional Disorders in South Australia: the First two Years
Southern Child and Adolescent Mental Health Service
The Early Detection of Emotional Disorders Program has been funded for 3 years by the Austalian government through the National Mental Health Strategy. Its overall goal is the reduction of suicidal behaviours in young people. This report covers the operation of the first 2 years of the program & details how it has been implemented across 17 schools. 2000 high school students have participated in the program, one of the largest of its type in Southern Australia.
