This study investigates the incidence of medical decisions concerning the end of life in homosexual men with AIDS. It was found that more than one third of these men had made medical decisions concerning ending their lives. The likelihood of euthanasia increased with the duration of survival afterAIDS diagnosis. In the judgement of physicians, these patients would have died due to there illness within a month.
